Partnering for sustainability
The challenges of climate change cannot be solved by Coloplast alone. By supporting international initiatives and engaging in partnerships, Coloplast can make a critical contribution to limiting the worst impacts of climate change.
UN Global Compact and the SDGs
We’ve been committed to the United Nation’s Global Compact since 2002, and we contribute to relevant UN Sustainable Development Goals. To serve as the basis for our new sustainability strategy, we have systematically assessed our impact on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our main contributions are on ‘Good Health and Well-Being’, ‘Responsible Consumption and Production’ and ‘Climate Action‘ (SDGs 3, 12 and 13).
Science-based targets
We have committed to setting ambitious science-based targets to support a 1.5°C future in accordance with the Paris Agreement. Limiting global warming to 1.5°C is crucial for climate change, and we are prepared to take the necessary steps to keep the temperature increase to no more than 1.5°C.
Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures
We support the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TDFD). In accordance with the TCFD recommendations, we disclose our climate-related risks and opportunities in order to better inform investors and stakeholders.
